What then ? I wanted to meet some potential buyers, so I started to wander randomly until I could find someone nice who would not greet strangers with cannonballs. But the birds were bored on the deck, so I put them on the top of the sail so that they could enjoy the view during the travel !
When finally meeting some lone beginner (seemed so at least) docked at an outpost, I casually parked alongside the bridge, started the music and offered him to take some chicken, either for lunch, or for sale ! The dude gladly took the offer as we ended up singing and dancing all the afternoon.
So I wanted to get parrots...

@daintydragon617 You got it that time. Is that your pirate there pointing with the jowls? I wanted my pirate to be a bit jowly, but after 3 hours on the IPG I just had to settle.
This happens to me and my crew we were freaked out by a guy try to sell us pigs we had a load of good chest so we took few pigs gave him two captains chests and sailed on I love it when I see little fun things like this happen make the game more fun instead of insta kill.
