@xgodkevin we always test PTT/proxi when starting a new group. If its bugged on. Toggle PTT Off and then back on. hasn't failed me yet.

Was duo slooping yesterday and decided to go after a galleon. Every time they went to board they announced it lol. Long story short, that was the fastest we ever sunk a galleon while sailing a sloop. Made off with a thousand grogs a few marauders and a xbox message letting me know that I suck.

But I'm pretty sure even if they made a hint-message on loadingscreen about this, you would still come across people doing it. :)
You can use it to confuse people aswell when you borde them etc, people are easily tricked, it's hilarious.

They can make it, much more difficult. Excusive Audio . By doing a check for exclusive mic control for the device used as mic, they could force all the input from that mic to be in game only. If no mic exclusivity, no game proximity chat.Does that stop a 2nd mic from being used to bypass this? No.
Do most of the pc player base have a 2nd mic? Probably not.
Would many go out and buy a 2nd mic to bypass this for this single game? Maybe some.But it would be much more difficult to have this particular advantage over xbox.
I have, counting web cams, 5 mics for my PC. Any game that forces that much control on MY PC will be deleted and I will demand a refund. I own the PC and the peripherals attached to them. Not a software development house.
