The advantage of using a mouse and keyboard unquestionable, yet they are still forced to Vs us in Pvp. Boarding is sooo important in this meta and Pc speed and precision is not only unfair but is un-fun. we should be allowed to have the option to "Prefer our own system" in our matchmaking. i buy a console because everyone is sharing the same system and its fair. this is just painfull, Also why do we get to type custom things in chat but they cant.

@noobosoarus Its not, I play on both and the hit detection and projectile physics (rather than hitscan that most fps have) in this game just make it hard to land shots. The only thing that gives you an advantage over other players is good timing.
@noobosoarus there a serious difference when u face off a team on pc its unfair i agree mouse and keyboard with binding are way more dangerous and have more movement then console player

@Lord-Sphinktus yea its the mouse.The ability to play with friends that you otherwise wouldnt be able to play with trumps this imagined slight. Maybe try dodging the bullets more, I’m on pc and I still get consistently wrecked, the only thing that ever seems to give me an edge is when I start strafing and jumping around like crazy. And if mouse is so good for accuracy why is it that I keep missing shots fired at slow moving skeletons? It’s about experience, not hardware.

@feeder87 yea thats why it should be a matchmaking preference like I said. No playerbase splitting, friends can play cross platform, and when the game is low on players searching for lobbys will find pc players if it has to

Everyone knows eventually PC hackers will end up making the game unplayable. So why not give the option to just keep console and PC seperate. Multiple times I've seen players with 2 guns and a sword. Pistol one shot kills at range. Dead pirates just running straight through the ferry doors with no waiting. Seemingly invincible pirates. This is only 3 weeks in!!

I agree with both your arguments. PC players have advantage, I used to play FPS on PC and can admit that a mouse is faster and more accurate. An option to choose between, Xbox only, PC only, or both in matchmaking would solve this. Also the chat thing, yes. I don't see why xbox players can't type custom messages in the chat. In Ark, you push Share and LB together to bring up chat. Simple.

@lord-sphinktus It's the problem of the cheaters being comprised of PC users. I never have issues with other console players. And I do report as a rule as do others who have experienced these things. Thought this was the point of this thread, reasons PC vs console is unfair, lol

The problem with that is the xbox app is broken & rarely shows recent pc players on an xbox console recent player list.
This makes it very difficult to report the player, unless you captured footage or were quick enough to write his GT down as he's bouncing around!@logansdadtoo so why aren't you asking Microsoft to fix the app? BTW the app isn't broken (I play on both platforms). Don't ask Rare to change their game because you think an app owned by someone else is broken. Microsoft owns Rare so I'm sure they are working on anything that needs to be fixed... In the meantime, quit demanding Rare change something they aren't going to change.

If there is nothing wrong with the xbox app, why have I only got 2 recent players in my players list from last night, even though i crewed with 8 people?@lord-sphinktus I’m sorry but there is a big difference when it comes to fighting a pc player when on Xbox. The mouse and keyboard set up is so much easier to aim with. I have to agree with the the post, I have an Xbox so expect to play against people with the same set up.
@rk1-turbulence we buy console so that we can relax and play with a contoller if we wanted to be hunched over a m/kb we would have bought PCs. The fact is we buy consol to play against other consoles not to play against PC players. Anyone saying give xbox kb/m support is missing the point.
I don't want my xbox turned into a PC just so I can compete with PC players. Even with kb/m support it won't be enough, we need 3rd party apps, macro customization etc just to be on par with PC players.
Then why are you all playing this game, if you don't want cross platform game play? If all of these xbox gamers were really so concerned with PC users having an advantage, then why play this game in the first place? Did you not watch the trailers? Read the reviews? Did you not know what it was you were downloading/buying/trying out?
Any advantage PC users may have in this game are minimal. Cheats are just as available on console as they are on PC, if you know what you're doing... and most of the people accusing others of cheating do not seem to have a grasp on the mechanics of this game yet.
