Anyone else hear randoms chatting in game?

    Spawned in solo sloop no one else around and heard some random chatter while loading, so turned sfx, music, etc down and master and all chat up with chat on non-directional. Now if you go to the gun cabinet, vanity chest or clothing chest you can hear randoms chatting having a full blown convo (provided people are chatting on server) on how they got sunk etc. Anyone else experience this at all?

    @jammyd22 this happened to me once this weekend, i came to an outpost and heard people and i was on high alert just to find no one there. Two people were talking about their epic chicken running for merchants haha and no one was in sight.

    I thought I was the only one!!! If there’s no background noise yes you can actually hear a faint sound of people talking which is pretty cool. Sometimes I try to listen to what they’re saying.

    @revanjstone I've literally got a recording of a crew fighting another galleon for loot then losing it lol weird!

    Yes I've had this. The voices I heard were very quiet, like a crossed telephone line (for those old enough to remember them) I couldn't make out everything they were saying, and I was also alone at the outpost with no ships in the area.

    @confusedgamer99 I could hear these guys as clear as day lol I had to check the outpost for campers

    @jammyd22 i've seen some posts about this, it appears its a server anomaly. Most likely wont work all the time.

    Aye. I circled the island marked on my map looking for other ships. Satisfied I was alone with no ships or mermaids around, I dropped anchor and went ashore to dig up my chest.
    No sooner had I reached the sand, I heard some others having a conversation. Thinking someone had anchored on the opposite side, I raised anchor and headed around the island but there was no one. Back on the island, the chatter started again at the same point on the beach.
    Got me excited for a minute, but was a letdown when I found it was a bug.

    Just glad to know i'm not alone, I thought i heard chatter most servers i joined but it was very faint and put it down to background noise at outposts. But with everything else turned down it's as clear as day.
