This stupid spawnpoints after you destroying a ship....

  • Greetings everyone,

    Today my mate and me had a silent farming tour (sloop) until a galleon was coming after about 2 hours... they entered us and we had after 8 deaths a chance to come back because they dont destroy our ship... my mate put some explosive barrels under the galleon and he destroyed the ship... so we had our loot back.

    No 2 minutes later we had to put the anker up and need to escape because the galleon was back... what is that s**t... why you let ships spawn in the same area after a fight

    Its the same thing if you try to get the skull island. Please change that or i have to quit the game.

  • Supposedly a fix is coming this week to make ships spawn on basically the other side of the map when they sink. This is good when it happens to "them" and bad when it happens to you.

  • i don't care about it if they destroy us... if they are better its ok... but in this situation they just spawncamp us on the ship and try to get our loot on their ship and we had after that to escape... but if the spawn at the next island and come back without the chance to get our loot to an outpost... thats just b******t and 90% of the players abuse this for sure

  • when you sink a ship it should migrate servers, as that crew dies, they should respawn on a different server.

  • @greyfighteriii I totally agree tho, spawnsystem sucks, been in several 2-3 hour long skull forts since people respawn right next to us. You could've called Parley, but you guys were sailing away as soon as we were in sight, we were going to your island for a voyage, you even screamed "See ya b*****s" after downing us, so why wouldn't we come back? If you hadn't been toxic, you might have been 15k richer by now.

    I literally just agreed with your statement about the spawn-system being terrible, sorry that it had to come to us stealing your stuff, but you were being toxic and showed ABSOLUTELY no sign of friendliness

  • @johnson-carl I think it’s in? My ship sank and I respawned on the opposite side.

  • even with the recent changes, there is merely a chance for ships to spawn on the other side of the map, meaning that there is still a chance that you could spawn not two islands away from were you had been sunk.

    myself and two other players sunk each others sloops near lone cove, but when i re-spawned, i was on smugglers bay. the other two players spawned somewhere near wanderers refuge (i assume), because we both arived at lone cove once again at roughly the same time.

    ships are still spawning within the area they had been sunk.

    Not true all the time. It seems to be random, and able to switch "biome" or quadrant.
    I respawned 16 squares north 10 squares west once.
    That's half a map away.

    im aware. im stating that there is still a chance for ships to spawn within the same region they had been sunk. sometimes it happens, sometimes you spawn in a completely different region. what i am saying is that ships should always spawn in a different region every time they are sunk.

  • The spawn update works, but they did something no one asked them to and for the love of god i don't know why they did it. So what happens is if you sink a ship with something other than cannonball fire they spawn close aka island next to where they sank. Don't ask me why would they address the issue of griefing but make it only work if you shot the ship atleast once ..... Great job RARE you outdid yourselfs much like the new update you release that took you 2 weeks to change the bluntbuster dmg number from 70 to 40 ....
