Ship battle arena

I know this is not Rare's intention, but I think a ship arena would be very well received. Here is how I think it should go:
smaller map maybe 1/5 the size, everyone spawns with full barrels and the ship doesn't respawn. So when your ship sinks you are eliminated. Any islands are just obstacles and do not have any barrels on them, so the only way to get more cannons for example is to steal them off another ship. Last ship standing wins, so in a way it is a "Battle Royale" game, but the map does not shrink. This would appease the larg margin of people who are not all about the pirate life, but want to just sink ships.
