Reason we were carrying so much is because we were trying to get the achievement for having 20 chests on your ship. We had just completed a stronghold and went to an island to receive the last 3 chests we needed via a voyage. Off to the outpost we go, all nervous and trolling each other regarding losing it all. No ships in the area, all was well. Made it to the outpost and we wanted to get a nice screenshot with it all. That is when we spotted a sloop coming up right behind us and we panicked and sailed off. During the battle to sink the sloop, the 10 minute server warning appeared. After we sunk the sloop and returned to the outpost it had only been 4 minutes later (my video proves this) when the server shut down and ended up losing it all. We couldn't believe it lol. But seriously, why such a short warning to begin with and why is the server shutting down much earlier than what the warning states?!
Sooo... just lost all this loot due to an inaccurate server shut down warning
@altanore I've noticed people saying this, and it seems to happen when you're reaching said 20 chest limit or a large amount of any loot in general. Pretty odd, huh?
I'm gonna go this tomorrow and test it out myself, but if a large loot pool causes this, then a heads up would be nice. Not exactly sure what's going on though.
