What happens when solo player logs out?

    Was in chill mode just sailing solo last night paying no attention to surroundings when BAM! Treasure hungry solo sloop rams from behind, boards n drops my anchor.

    So i killed him n went on my way.
    Like seconds later he was at his boat firing cannons so i blasted him a good few n sailed off.

    Looked over my shoulder n hes there again chasing!

    Now since im in chill mode and cba, jeez kicked his @$$ twice!. I just changed server.

    No treasure was onboard. Does the boat and me stay there motionless for a bit?. Or does it vanish soon as i log?

    Wouldn't want him thinking he got a win 😂

    I, also would like to know what happens, i was playing solo, and after an hour and a half of dodging three different galleons i decided to take one of my two skulls and dive as deep as i could go before i quit, my only satisfaction was listening to them all dissapointed i didn’t stick around so they could spawn kill me over and over, wonder what happened to my ship and skulls...guess they wern’t really mine anymore...

    @d4rk5tar71uk when playing solo, if you change servers or log out, your ship scuttles immediately.

    What happens to any loot on board? Does it float in despawn?

    So with the way current ship respawn happens, they aren't coming at you that quickly. Generally they get sent to another map area, and would have to sail all the way back to the area you were in and then hunt you down, unless you are hanging out there.

    I also think that once the player leaves the game, their ship leaves as well. I'm guessing at this point though, never tested it out.

    @pithyrumble if you leave in an attempt to make it so that they do not get any of your loot you only made it easier for them to get a hold of it, might I suggest sailing into the red sea

    No mermaid on the water.

    Yep that's my aim. LoL. Got ambushed so I couldn't make it off map. Thanks for your info!
