No Man's Sky Xbox One

  • It's happening. I kinda liken these two games, Sea of Thieves has water and islands and No Man's Sky has space and planets.

I'm quite c*****d. Should look the nuts on the X.

Elite is far too involved for me. My brother loves it. Not for me, ta. I prefer somethin a little lighter.

Aye, there's a lot to be said for checking before posting. ;)

My copy of Sea of Thieves isn't buggy - runs fine on the X - tiny bit of screen tear to begin but that's gone. Sorry yours is. Bon chance.

  • @innerspace-hq A lesson's been learned this day.

Haha. Excited might also be a little too much. I'm just keen to see it arrive on MS. They've added quite a bit from what I gather but it's a game as a service. They tend to grow by definition. Xbox copy comes with all updates, content etc and same road map for future free updates too.

  • Still waiting for a true multiplayer on this one.

Space is kinda huge and feels lonely...

I don't know, they're two quite very different games.. I think most of the people on these forums would prefer playing no mans sky though. It's like this game, but only PvE. So they don't have to complain about the PvEvP world they're playing in! All the participation award players can go play there. It'd be amazing.

I'll stick to the seas personally, but I hear it's quite engaging.

Exploration is key to both games was more my point, and they're both games as a service - they grow by definition. I do like a bit of gadding around on my own. Same in Sea of Thieves... I regularly take my sloop out alone, dunno why people seem to hate it. I'm all for leisurely sailing through uncharted territory in whatever ship you've got for me :)

  • I am a huge fan of solo also. I personally don't have a problem with it, it's supposed to be harder. When I succeed at solo pirating, it's so much sweeter. Especially vs a 4 man Galleon crew. I've sank several on my own, and they thought I was a duo. I've actually gained a few friends this way!

I've been waiting years for a game like this that doesn't hold your hand. It's not the AI that scales and gets harder, it's a constant threat of other players looming that keeps me entertained. Without that, I would have never even thought of picking up this game.

I'm definitely not one of the SoT bashers on here. I'm particularly fond of SoT. It's just the usual flow of BS that accompanies any game launch. Whether it's founded or not the complaints always seem like the developer has come round their house and abducted their family. I WANT THIS I WANT THAT THIS IS SO BAD ALL IN CAPITALS WITH NO PUNCTUATION AND REALLY HARD TO READ. This forum was a lovely place once. Manners go right out the window at game launches. Same all over. Major game angst on here just now.

No Man's Sky was the same. Games as a service will just need to weather these people with their outrageous demands and offensive remarks.
