Keep a weather eye riddle

  • Anyone else having trouble with some of the riddles?
Mainly the ones which contain ‘keep a weather eye’ I’ve looked this up and the official term means ‘keep your eye out for changes’ but how does that compare or be relevant to following compass directions after finding a landmark?
I struggle with these and usually give up the voyage so any help would be appreciated

  • @berger1111 The one that I had, this phrase had no meaning that I could find.

Ok, did you still manage to solve the riddle and dig in the right place??
See I’m 100% sure I’ve followed the directions correctly, found the right landmark and 99% sure I’m digging in the right place, it’s the weather eye thing that’s stumped me though!

  • @berger1111 we spent a long time thinking we were looking in the right location, we weren't. But the weathered eye was meaningless. We were looking at what we thought were teeth, but they weren't :) And where the riddle was telling us to look wasn't exactly right.

  • @berger1111 it was close to the last hint for us. About 20 paces south east directly under a plam tree. The weather eye hint didn't help more distracted haha.
