I've had this game since launch and haven't encountered anything this big until now. As you've already read by the title my game crashes seconds after launch. I've tried uninstalling, restarting my computer and nothing. I really wanna play this wonderful game with my close friends but I can't.

Whenever I launch the game it almost instantly crashes

They say its a bug with a family account (or gamepass).
And this is for don't make stress test of this accounts.
Rare+Microsoft selling a game its like a FULL game but in real its BETA unstable.
They only need a fix of permission of the game, but its more interesting if you want playing so much, buy the only 1 account game(when the politic of microsoft store, don't said this), they don't know, if u watch a bugs in the game, you will not buy the game and make a bad marketing@arttryhard @Pouetprrrrrout @darksTDS @MedusoTriocular

Donc tu désinstalles, tu relances l'installation et tu reboot directe.
Après reboot, tu jettes un œil dans les notifications de windows et tu verras que le dl sera en tâche de fond. Tu patientes et paf pastèque, ça marche...@pouetprrrrrout If you are not getting an error code when it crashes it might be something different. Try downloading any free app on the Microsoft Store (like Netflix or Twitter) and then re-launch the game. I've seen an issue like this before and this always works
@piratebrig yup, ive been all over the forums, found everything on greyscreen or crash at launch, nothing is working. trying 7th reinstall.
@critx I suppose you have already seen "my" possible solutions, so you should contact the support. Theoretically, that bug should have been fixed in the last update...
Raise a ticket (it may take a while to fully load)There are also those who have fixed the issue by reinstalling Windows 10... and another user fixed it in a less drastic way:

I actually fixed it by giving myself access to the WindowsApp folder (even tho I was already an admin) and deleting the sea of thieves folders from there and doing another install of the game.
Maybe this helps with changing permissions.

I managed to fix it. What was causing the issue was a program called virtual audio cable. something i use to split audio channels using software rather than hardware.
@el-espectro-0 Yhea ive sent 2 tickets in already. Last one they had me collect a bunch of data and send it in the ticket.
@arttryhard they never will repair this, I called Microsoft, Xbox and I speaked with support, Microsoft say me all its ok (they say me the problem its possible was gestion of accounts of sea of thieves for Rare), xbox they say me this is normal and not will repair, and the support they say me "we know the issue", soon we repair, patch later nothing and dont mention in the future features ... (never). I try refund it
