Save Our Ship and all its resource

  • Every time I leave the game after stocking my ship full of cannonball s',planks and bananas. It sucks that the game cant save you're ship for the next time you're on... I think that's a feature that needs to be added

  • @gergenator92 as long as it's not saving your TREASURE, I would be ok with this.

  • @glacefrostclaw right... Besides the treasure that you have on the ship

  • I like the idea, but there are just too many abusers right now to offer this type of thing. In quite a few posts people are discussing completing a fortress and jumping to other servers to find more fortresses. If you had this ability a ship could load up with enough equipment for hours to just jump server to server to server to complete fortresses or grief other players.

I can also see players abusing this to disconnect before their ship sinks entirely to keep all the items they have. Now Death has absolutely no penalty at all if I can just change servers.

I think the mechanic needs to be thought out...maybe keep 15 items of each additional, but not all.

  • @gergenator92 Not a fan. You'll easily have vets stocked with 1000+ cannonballs going against noobs with stock + outpost level. Very imbalanced and contrary to the level playing field they want for the game.

  • @nightmare247365 well if the ship sinks then everything is lost and would have to resource hunt again but I see you're point

  • @gergenator92

I think they would be wise to add a general store, where more higher level players could just buy this stuff.
There really is no sense, or fun In repeating this tedious task every single time, when you've got 100k gold sitting there for nothing.

  • @gergenator92 the game can't remember which weapons I had equipped. I think it's asking a little much to have it remember how many bananas we stocked up on.

That is actually a terrific idea.

As it stands, at some point gold will be a resource no one cares about, quickly surmounting to huge amounts, where any new item that is released can easily be bought.

Being able to purchase things like bannas and cannon balls from outposts could be a very simple way of bleeding players gold stores IF they choose the fast way out.

    Really like this idea.

    YUP!

And you could buy even those Banana/cannonball/plank crates, but they could be something like 5-10k a piece, so not that cheap, but also not that expensive when you think about what you could do with those items, like having cannonballs right there on your deck is super handy, or having a crate filled with bananas on a skull island, as a healing station could work very well.
