I agree, never knew this till I played his and yesterday we battled a team one guy I killed several times and sunk his ship but his partner some reason toook several blunder shots several sword swipes from me and friends and managed to bounce around and get one hit kills.
Cross Platform Unfair
No self respecting pirate uses the Eye of Reach regardless of platform, I'm serious. Normal guns have no aim assist on PC, so you're actually more inclined to miss a shot. Shooting cannons isn't about dialing in accuracy, it's about knowing where to aim to lead the shot based on your ships movement and theirs. It might be a tiny bit easier on PC, but believe me, it's still a lot of missed shots and adjustment usually unless you're close. More likely you just ran up against really good players.
haha , How to know if they are playing PC, Bunnyhopping, reloading faster than you (connection or ? firing 3 shot during my reload , no hit from back , OS by sword when spawn , people trying to snipe you during a fight race,
There no prob with cross plateform just put an option .
If ibought an Xbox, it wasn't to play with PC people,find more skill with controller than m&k .
The middle of this thing is just to put an option, and i can preduce than PC-PC bracket gonna be desert obviously 🙂
we don't tell us there is advantages or else, it s just a fact . Gameplay possibilities with M&K are not the same than with a controller.

I do not agree with you.
There is a fully installed stigma in which PC players are sweeping over the console players, and in some games that are based on shots I would agree, but I think that is not the case with Sea Of Thieves.
How do you really know that the players you are facing are from PC?
Thanks to Crossplatform I play with console people and PC at the same time, and this is my experience.
Not all players are equal of good, skilled or have the same luck.
Regardless that they can have a certain advantage with the mouse, we in console have a great advantage when it comes to move, of course if you are a regular console player, I have increased the sensitivity of the camera to almost 10, and kill a lot more that my PC companions and their great GTX 1080.
Why?
Because in Sea Of Thieves not everything is a matter of skill, but strategy, and if you get used to a high sensitivity ratio, even at 8.5, I know that at first it costs, you can achieve even better benefits.
The luck of being able to play with people from XBOX and PC in such a great way, should also give you a point in favor of achieving varied squads and with different abilities.
Seriously, we do not have a month of game and I think you should continue giving this wonderful crossplatform a chance and not frustration.
In addition, there will surely be updates and will be balancing the gaming experience in both but from the heart I tell you, after many hours of play, I do not notice the difference, neither against the enemies, nor in my own team of console players and PC
A united and great community, is what will make this game along with content, triumph in history.

I experienced it today, it wasnt fun at all.
This game is a blast, but today, the experience ruined it completely. Guy is sprinting and running forward but shoots me in the fastest 360 ive seen, while continuing to move forward. All gear for their ship, full gear for crew, including etheral eyes(thats legendary stuff) auto aiming cannon on their ship that they were abnle to fight a fort and two other ships with....

You assume the people that beat you are PC. There's no way for you to confirm this, so your fact are based on nothing but hot air. I play console and PC and never had a problem taking people down.
Cheaters are an entirely seperate issue and are not exclusively to PC, stop being a sheep.
@vividconlin Yikes... I hit a feeling somewhere. I can do just as good with controller as i do with M&K. I believe you lose fights due to lack of skill. Calling someone out for being good at the game doesn't mean they are cheating. shoutout to @Karnaloth for understanding!

If you take someone who has played games mostly on PC for all their life, and pit them against someone who is the same way on a controller, the difference is milliseconds at best. Do PC players have an advantage? Sure, I guess you can say that, since it obviously makes you feel better about yourself. I've seen twelve year olds aim and shoot faster than guys who play PC fps games. So all this c**p about PC players having an enormous advantage? Just entitled, low-skill people whining.
Oh, and anyone who thinks all the hackers are PC players are beyond naive. Quite frankly, these ignorant people should be ignored. Cheating on console pretty simple. Don't know why people think console is harder or safeguarded from cheating.

For those who are familiar with PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on PC, you're probably aware of the issues the game has with cheaters. It seems that UWP isn't immune either.
this is ultimately the game's biggest downfall because console players have no ability to upgrade and manipulate their system to play the game as PC players do and or they should be forced to use a Microsoft controller to play the game but the easiest solution would just have the option to switch servers where are you guys need to fix this game soon before it ruins it for everyone on Xbox besides that you're doing a great job and keep up the good work
@ohrstrom yea I have the same problem, so what I did is just have multiple dpi settings on my mouse. Once I ads I click a button to up my sensitivity.

Mind you I've played console since I was 6 and played Nintendo 8 bit, I can handle a controller, but my view stays the same.

^RMyou all are bashing so hard.. lets just let the console players attach a keyboard and mouse.. then see who gitsgud. btw the game is cross platform and only needed to be purchased once. just buy a pc next time an "upgrade" comes around. investing in a better machine shouldn't make me miss out on being able to play with my friends because someone else feels like their at a disadvantage when they aren't.
