I KEEP DISCONNECTING (CYANBEARD)

  • To summarise and Keep it short.
    I Play for 10-20minutes-- Game kicks me out cuz I disconnected.(Code:cyanbeard)

    Im clueless on what to do.
    What ive tried so far:

    Ive disabled teredo on Fritz box

    XBOX app Settings:
    NAT TYPE: OPEN
    Server Connection: connected
    Ping:33ms
    packetloss:0%

    I dont know what to do at this Point.
    Please someone give me something new to try

  • @heardboot166622 similar situation here (kind of). My game keeps crashing, it takes me back to the Xbox home screen, reload the game and no beard code given. It's happened 6 times now over the last two days or so, it's becoming fairly frequent.

    Does your game actually freeze (video and audio) or just disconnect entirely?

    I'm reinstalling hoping that will fix it.

  • @jamiecurnock It disconnects, sending me back to the Homescreen of the Game after a Error message saying: you've lost Connection to the Xbox Live Servers(cyanbeard)

  • That sounds more like something at the Xbox end rather than your game then?

  • @heardboot166622 The same thing is happening to me except its kicks me off exactly 13 minutes on multiplayer and 6 minutes when im solo. I have know idea what to do?

  • I keep getting this error to since 2 days.... specially when my boat is full of chest wich is like 2-3 hours of working hard to find chest. When I’m going to post for selling my hard work, baaaam CYANBEARD Xbox live disconnected. I lost everything.... done this 3 times. So now I just don’t want to play anymore since they fix thix frustrating problem

  • @heardboot166622 For some reason I get the same issue.
    The Internet connection was checked the way you did on Xbox One X, but after a few minutes to get a quest to hunt chickens and arrive to the destination I usually get disconnected.
    There is also a visual lag problem whereas fighting a Skeleton it seems to warp around me, or when setting sails it takes a moment before I get to look at the sail for adjustment.
    Always followed by a disconnect.
    Been 2 days since I bought the game, and still cannot complete a quest because of the disconnects.
    Hopefully, Rare is working on this issue.

  • Same here...i've opened up a ticket. The problem happens on the xbox and pc version. It's so annoying....my NAT is OPEN....i've disabled IPv6.

    I was getting diconnects every 30 to 90min. btw I play on PC from germany. After checking my connectivity with XBOX Live (Settings - Network) I found that my NAT Type was "strict" and my Connection "blocked". So I tried the following:

    1. Teredo Filter (Fritz Box)
      Disabled the Teredo Filter within my router (Fritz Box - Internet - Filter - uncheck box)
      Result: NAT: "medium", Connection: "connected"
      Game: still keeps getting diconnects!!! (30 to 90min)

    2. Open Ports and Priorising
      Opened all Ports for XBOX Live, which are:
      Port 88 (UDP)
      Port 3074 (UDP und TCP)
      Port 53 (UDP und TCP)
      Port 80 (TCP)
      Port 500 (UDP)
      Port 3544 (UDP)
      Port 4500 (UDP)
      Therefor I went to: Internet - Filter - Lists ... and entered all of them also priorising my PC.
      Result: NAT: "open", Connection: "connected"
      Game: still keeps getting diconnects!!! (60 to 90min, finally I can turn in loot when I am fast)

    3. Deactivate IPv6
      Deactivated IPv6 in my Fritz Box by unchecking the Box at: Internet - Login Data - IPv6
      Result: NAT: "medium", Connection: "connected"
      Game: getting no diconnects!!! (I was able to play 4h straight)
      W*F???

    All my other multiplayer games work properly... and now MICROSOFT can´t get their game to work properly with standard settings??? I HAVE TO DEACTIVATE IPv6??? RLY???

  • yeah ive taken multiple strongholds and been dc'ed before I could get my loot to port. dc'ed during quests etc. the only way to counter this is to play with ppl I know and can rejoin. however I hardly have people whom to do this with or the spot gets taken. as of right now I cannot play this game alone. we need to fix this issue or offer money back. cause this is stupid

  • I love the game don't get me wrong but if I keep dc'ing before I get get loot to port or in the middle of solo voyages having to start over. it is not playable.

    I normally play wow or overwatch for hours without a single disconnect and in this c**p i got like one dc every 40min.
    Today was my day off and i decided to play the game a lot. During the whole gamplay i did lost 2 golden skulls and one anguish chest (which was the first time i saw one) while moving towards the closest outpost.
    Bunch of hours playing, nice value treasures and puff, s**t just disappears.
    It's unbelivable that there no such a rejoin feature to a online game with this stupid server problems, which as far as i researched, where already on Beta and they didn't did s**t about it.
    I tried all the possible "solutions" i have found in the game forum and honestly i am tired of trying to solve a problem that the developers didn't were able to do it themselves.
    I didn't bought a game to take more time searching for how to fix it's server connections problems than playing it.

    And yea, i am really frustrated right now.
    I wish i could get my money back...

  • Its been more then a month since the game rolled out. Havent been able to play more then an 40min straight. Any1 know where to ask my money back?
