I have played the game for about 10 hours now and ended up fighting 2 Krakens and two of the Skeleton fort raids, And out of the two I feel the forts where way more of a challenge and posed way more of a threat to ship and crew. Im just wondering what others thoughts are. Do you feel the same or different and why?
Kraken, too easy?
@platypuserotica I absolutely agree, Its very fruastrating because its this epic thing and the first time it happened i got super excited but then It really didnt do much.....
@undying-enders Right? I think we had one hole in the middle of our ship. Not even bottom deck. We rarely bother repairing that floor. Two shipmates were drowned by the tentacles. That's it. Then it just ran away. I have high hopes that Rare is setting us up for something and this is just a precursor to an epic engagement!
Agreed. The first time. The seas turn black and the music changes you get this feeling in the pit of your stomach... Oh no, the big bad Kraken is here to get us and our ship has slowed to a halt. Then, the tentacles appear and you start fighting. One picks you up and does some weird stuff, you shoot it or hit it with a sword and fall into the water swim back to your ship, how am I not dead? The tentacles fall over one after the other, doing very little to your ship or your crew throughout the entire experience. Then the last tentacle falls into the water and the water goes back to normal...
The Kraken experience is done. Did we kill it? Did it run away? I'm a little confused... Ummmm. That it?The worse part is theres no reward for it, Like come one maybe have Kraken Tentcle piece or some thing you can turn into the Guild that collects animals or some thing. ( to be honest when we beat it i was very disatisfied and i screamed some rather Obscene things at the game about come back here and ill give you a what for again.)
