So this has happened a couple of times now, we catch the chicken or pig and then one of them disappears. The only way we have managed to stop it is if one of us stays next to the cage the whole time. Anybody else have this problem?
Missing Animals
Don't let them die. The trouble that I'm seeing is there is no way to know, as a player, that the animals have died. They simply vanish, with no sound or animation. It makes it somewhat difficult to figure out exactly why they're disappearing.
Pigs have to be fed bananas when they get noisy. Chickens, just keep them away from shrapnel, led, and sharp metal. Also, pigs nor chickens can breath under water.
All animals must be kept away from ship walls to avoid death by cannonball.
Pigs and chickens must be kept away from snakes. Snake spit kills.
Pigs must be fed 1 banana per 8 minutes. Death is quick once they start complaining.
Chickens will drown in a heavy rain. Keep them under cover at all times.
No animals can breath water. If your hold is filling up with water while your animals are there quick action is required.
