    Ahoy mateys,

    I've been having a blast plundering the seas with my crew lately, and just recently we got into an amazing encounter with the Kraken! I gotta say this was super cool. The suspense of the black water, watching the tentacles take my friends under the sea, and trying to kill the Kraken were all really fun.

    However I was just wondering what happens to the Kraken after it disappears again... We were shooting the Kraken a bunch with cannons and guns to try and kill it, but we only got a bunch of hitmarkers. It then eventually disappeared under the waves and we never saw it again. As much of a cool encounter this is, it is pretty disappointing to just have the Kraken swim away every time...

    Has anyone been able to kill it yet or is it just not able to be killed?
    Also, what do you guys think about the Kraken? :D

    Our crew encountered the Kraken last night. We didn't want to waste our cannonballs, and took it out with just our pistols/blunderbusses - the tentacles registered hits, but supposedly hitting their 'heads' does more damage. If you are standing too exposed / still / close to one of them (as far as we could tell) it can grab you and start eating you - you will be released but I believe you take like 1/2 health damage. If you are unlucky though you won't be able to catch your ladder from being released in the water. Whenever the big tentacle wraps your ship and squeezes you need to hit it immediately and then have people repairing the damage (it does quite a bit on the squeeze) After maybe 8 minutes of fighting it it finally let us go
