  • Call it Zoolander...

  • its called waves.

  • @CoffeeArt687098 or Magnum

  • There is a thing closer to the back of the ship. You can operate it to change the direction your ship is turning. ;)

  • @brandonblk When did you bring it last in for maintenance?

  • @brandonblk Not centering your steering wheel properly? It makes a sound and vibrates your controller when it is centered. Waves? Wind in sails? Just because a steering is centered doesn't mean it won't turn on its own. Storm? Storms will mess up your compass and cause the ship to steer any way it sees fit on its own.

  • The waves along with the wind and sail angles play a factor is your ship drifting in a certain direction.

  • I noticed this too, it feels a bit different then in the beta/alphas. The waves are affecting the ship's direction way more. In the alphas, I set the course and there was very little adjustment needed along the way, now it's way more frequent. Anybody else noticed?

Edit: most noticable on the sloop.

  • it must be the waves

  • Port and Left both have 4 letters.. a good way to learn Port and Starboard. ;)

If you can't make out wind direction from the wisps, just look at the flag on top of your mast.

  • i mean its just another thing to make solo slooping harder
