The final beta at Xbox One needed 18GB and now the complete game only needs 9,16Gb.
What is happening?
Is SOT so small?
@carlosgspsp I would gess your console being not very powerful, they removed high-rez textures and sound it couldn't run anyway. It'll then reduce the app size drastically.

The Xbox One S version is around 9GB due to it not requiring the high res images that the Xbox One X does (20GB)
@carlosgspsp code base isnt the biggest part of the game.
perhaps clever use of textures. Since most of it is sea, sand and palms... not much needed.
And 18gb is for xbox one X and PC with 4k textures, 9gb is for all other consoles.@trenix90 keep in mind this game is essentially water and effects. actual solid items are quite rare and that explains low client size. Judge it by its size, do you ?

For $60, yes.
@trenix90 Then ask for refund, you're allowed for one legally within 15 days if you bought it in Europe. If not, then.. sucks to be you. Time to vote better :p

For $60, yes.
I don't care how dumbed down this game is. I play on XBox One S and its one of the most beautiful games I'v ever seen! Plenty enough for my $60. I cant even imagine how awesome it would look on 4k XBox One X. I will be finding out though, soon enough. Its just a gorgeous game dude, go with it.

I've played the game before, but generally it's believed I didn't play at all, or simply for 5 minutes. I'm a living pirate myth.

I truly wonder how many people as yourself got others to refund already by telling them to get out and to go refund. I'm a stakeholder, I have a say. Deal with it.

I'm not the one judging the dev's work by the size of the app they produce but by the quality and lifespan of it.I would suspect it's due to localization(languages, etc). In order to keep from having tens of different installations for the different localized versions they put all localizations in the same install file for all the alphas, scale tests & betas worldwide. With it officially launched they created separate versions for each region.
