Tavern With Other Players?

There are several taverns dotted around the map and can have any other crews in there... especially if they have just visited the outpost to drop of a chest and are in the tavern celebrating!

The map is shared with a limited group of pirates so you're not falling over each other... but they are out there!

@mrgravycakes The aim is every 15-20 minutes you will encounter other ships...
Servers are dynamically managed to keep them full, its all very clever!

Depends if other players are nearby.
- Is there any phasing so your away from other players?
Only escape is to sail away and lose them.

So, will there be any towns or cities where you can gather with other players? In World of Warcraft Stormwind would be the main city for the alliance for example :)

There are islands everywhere where you may or may not meet other players.
All of the map has PVP enabled so there are no safe zones.
Think WoW, But on little islands and every other player is the enemy faction, You may find some ready for a laugh, but some looking for blood.@musicmee well with one of the achievements is to grog with another crew in the tavern, maybe it won't be all shooting

And hopefully there will be a unwritten rule "drinking grog is more important than fighting and no fighting in tavern even if it's possible"
I know I'll drop by in outpost taverns every now and then and might even do it while having a drink for reals ;) And will not be drawing my weapon while in there.. even if it ends up me being dead and my ship sunk on harbour.Players roam the world with you and if you and they want to and you just make a truce and work together its completely up too you and the other crew but we haven't seen a official kind of join crews option as you need that sense of anyone could betray you at any moment feeling spices up the game a bit.

So far, All I know is you can group up with friends/players before you begin the session.
