Spawn trapped on my own ship.

    So me and a friend decided to download and play the beta before pre-ordering, the game was fun, until a ship of 4 people attacked us at an outpost and proceeded to camp our only ship spawn, we couldn't even react in time after re-spawning to kill them, is there any way to move spawn points without quitting and joining again? i'm really hoping that's not going to be a recurring event, id rather not have to reboot a game every 30 minutes just to enjoy it. other than that its a great game and i cant wait for the full release.

    The only other option is to scuttle your ship in the options and then take a mermaid to your new ship.

    Right now the Dev team has confirmed they need to change the spawns. In the last video or two they know that it is too easy to predict the spawn locations. This should be fixed, hopefully by launch, if not shortly there after.

    I not long read that after your ship sinks you respawn on your new ship, So scuttling should be easier..

    I think the server drop and reload is a pretty good solution to most peoples PvP issues in game.

    Short of creating PvE and PvP servers (or some kind of player flagging) if you find yourself in a compromised position, just leave it.

    It's about having fun. If you're not having fun, drop the server. The one spawn camping you is clearly having their fun. Take it away from them.
