@scheefinator You need to "charge" it with a lot of light... keep it under a bright light for a few minutes and then it goes this bright!

Yeah past the Founder status we all have nothing has been officially announced, however back in the early days of development it was talked about, the potential for us to have a small in-game reward for being part of the alpha testing... I know Rare always has a way of rewarding and surprising us... so never say never!
@logansdadtoo nice i was trying to find what it looks like for a while now. i was lucky enough to get a controller last minute before it was completely sold out.

@robarath Not to be rude but not everyone sees this stuff. I keep myself updated alot with sot while waiting and i never saw this description. Guess i was too busy pre-ordering the digital copy to care. :\ At least that answeres that question. Now all i hope is that theres a hook in the game that can match well with the set.

Just got my sea of thieves controller today, the store I got it from had a deal where if you traded in a standard xbox one controller (black) they would drop the price from £64.99 to £34.99. I promptly went home and grabbed my spare controller that came with the xbox (had myself the red Gears Of War controller as my main) and went to the store and did the deed! I also had £5.98 of loyalty points with the store so ended getting the controller for £29.01! What was even better was that when they put in the code to give me the deal they told me that it was apparently finished (and no-one had told them) but they gave it to me anyway. A good day of Pirating!

That's awesome. I wish I could've done that lol I have too many controllers, even with having two xbox's and a gaming PC with which I reserve a controller for.

It should be available starting the beginning of April, but in Europe the only available pre-order from Amazon is from the UK. On the other subsidiaries it will probably be available for pre-order starting from mid March...

Well I don't think it was ever advertised with it. It's possible there's more "black and emerald" themed stuff that will be obtainable elsewhere. Though I agree, it's too bad they split up the set like that.

Yes it definitely should work with PC too. Other Seagate Game Drives work with the PC without any problem and this is the same as those only difference is this has a cool looking Sea of Thieves theme to it.Definitely. They work either way, you just have to reformat them every time you switch them up. I had an old 1 tb hard drive I used to use for the pc long ago that I switched to the xbone when I got one. Then when it got to be too small, I upgraded and reverted the 1 tb back to usage for the pc. Granted it wasn't the same brand, I doubt it matters much though.
@maia Welp i know now what im saving up for after pre-ordering the game. The hard drive. Mostly for the blunderbuss but also it works for pc so hey theres something useful i can use it for. :p

The black will be available for all preorders before the game's release and won't be available in game to those that don't and will be exclusive to those that do preorder up to release.
