after playing the beta and loving it i felt the one emote missing was a surrender, being able to look down your periscope and see people waving white flags to show they are friendly would be a good inclusion to the emotes. i know its not the pirate code but it would help with some of the players that like to adventure on there own.
Surrender emote ? would be handy
@stupidy2k I think it could be pretty cool as well. I do like though that pulling out your instrument or mug of grog have been deemed the proper way to surrender by the community through playing.
The game definitely needs something like this!
I feel it's virtually impossible to yield or show you're not up for a fight until now, which gets even worse by the proximity chat being so low in volume another ship will probably have a hard time understanding what you're saying.
I would still vote for a little banner which you can fly on top of your main sail which shows your status - at least the one you want to show. ;-)

The proximity chat volume is fine in my experience.
