I still hope that they bring fishing into the game!!! Harpoon guns for whales, swordfish and bigger creatures! While using regular rods, nets and reels for other fish!! There would be lots of potential variety for fish! Even very deep fish that can only be caught in the deepest seas, warmest seas or coldest seas! Then on top of this! There could be an NPC that gives you hints/areas/quests/myths for you to find the area that certain fish appear or can be caught! You bring these fish to him and he can give you cosmetic fisherman types of gear and weapons! Larger animals could be turned in for ship parts like anchors! There could be a swordfish sabre, puffer fish bucket, hammerhead hat! Get creative! The most legendary illusive fishs would obviously give the best looking cosmetics! These fish could be also stolen from other pirates! Parts or the whole fish (depending on size) could be mounted on/in your ship! Some fish could even have maps or treasure in their stomachs like whales, large squids or sharks!

@abeaverofcanada Here's hoping Rare finally get with the program concerning fishing. It's a shame they had to be dragged to the table kicking and screaming, in light the community's concerted requests for the feature.
