Open beta needs to be a thing now a days

    With the production of so many games that have been great and terrible video game developers need to realise that.. open beta is a must ? You want to invite as much population to the game don't you ? Look at how successful battlefield series is? Even know there games are bug filled they still have a high population always ? Open beta now a days is not to test bugs (I mean it can be) but it's to see what the public thinks of it ... I love the idea of this game...but with so many alike it , you need to make sure your customers are happy ? Give a 5 day open beta access

    Don't let people down ...

    Tbf battlefield isnt popular because it has an open beta, its popular because its a game genre thats been plugged endlessly for years and many gamers have grew up with it. Look at cod, that playerbase is young.

    That said a beta is ultimately for the developer, not the player. No matter what all the people say about it being a selling point etc, betas are for stress tests and bugs etc. Betas a couple of weeks before release are a glorified demo, not a beta in its true sense. Anyway, rare had so many people want to play the beta that it caused people not being able to long on over the weekend, a beta doesnt drum up interest but admittedly it does help.

    @linktothepast30 Well maybe they doesnt have all the servers up so only few people (alot) get the beta right now

    @aprovoked-mango yes stress testing is an important factor but you can not say in the slightest big people would spend 60$ on a game they have seen famous people play... That game needs to show me it's worth that now a days, to quote you ... Like cod to have built a great player base... With there c**p content ... Is just inevitable.. they have great games but they have worse games and that's what I'm saying yes beta is for the developer... But open beta is for the player... They only test the servers by then Hense why alpha and closed beta are Playable by the world for buying or getting invited or something

    The closed beta still hasn't ended so just be patient for more info. I understand you want to try it before you buy it but just give it time.

    @atreyu212012 I'm not upset or impatient this is a form , of suggested ideas and opinions that's what it's for, I have played RARE games since N64 my friend and trust me when I say they are one of the most creative company's still around.. haven't made a game for quite some time... And to come out of the blue when Microsoft bought then is amazing I strongly believe they will do good things as Microsoft has amazing customer service and listens to there customers... My point was only what needs to happen and see if I am the other person thinking it or if I am besides others who don't wanna get screwed out of a great experience

    Yeah I'm not saying you can't give suggestions but I think it is possible we will receive another closed beta or an open beta in the future. We just have to wait for more info.

    @atreyu212012 the game is set to release on March 20th 2018, usually when a company wants to release open beta it is a month before.. they usually set a date and your right.. they could have open beta but it is not likely
