    Right now it's Alpha testing and I believe it's the only way atm.

    Have you played this version of the game yet? It’s worse then alpha. This is pre-alpha.

    I have. It's got more bugs and server-related issues than alpha, and they've stripped it down from the last alpha installment, but hey... you can either play it or not. I'm not saying your criticism isn't warranted. I feel the same way, but that's not the question being asked here.
