Captain’s Log- day 2-
My crew and I were set on a voyage to the sunken grove when we spotted another galleon on the horizon. We had no treasure on board, so decided to attack. We spent several minutes circling each other, out of range. I attempted to use the anchor tho turn, faster, but wasn’t quite able to do the maneuver correctly. Eventually the two ships headed straight towards each other. Each crew member was on a cannon as they passed not 3 feet from each other! Cannonballs and smoke flew everywhere. We tried to turn for another pass, but when we began to move forwards, they rammed us head on! After collecting ourselves and arming the cannons, the enemy ship rammed into the side of our ship again! This time I managed to jump on board, blunderbuss at the ready. I quickly shot down 3 of them, then ran belowdecks looking for the fourth. We engaged in a sword duel, and I emerged victorious. I searched their ship, but alas! They had no treasure. As the crew reappeared back on their ship I shot and sliced down three more! I went above the deck to look for my ship, but my crew had sailed far away by now. I dropped their anchor in hopes that my crew could return to me, but two more of the enemy emerged from below. My blunderbuss was out of shots, so I pulled out my cutlass, 2 against 1! I tried to block the attacks but eventually was slain. I could smell the hate from their swords!
