Crew member name tags view distance

    I love the idea of seeing our crew member’s nametag above their character, but we really need to be able to see their name from a farther distance, not too far but definitely an increase of seeing distance of their tags at the moment.

    When we’re on an island, it’s hard to determine where our crew mates are when they say “Come here, I found the chest!” And you find yourself searching the whole island until you get close to them enough to see their tag.

    Would love to see this improved in the full release.

    @evodous Ahoy there, this has been mentioned a few times but I think the general feeling among the community so far is that they enjoy utilising other ways to find your crewmates - things like compass directions, prominent landmarks or plants on the island, firing a blunderbuss or pistol as an indicator etc. It's one of the features that for me, makes the game feel that little bit more immersive.

    @evodous agreed. It needs increased. I almost always remain in the nest as a lookout while my crew hunts for treasure and seeing them running around below me, unidentified, leads me to believe they may be hostiles.

    EDIT: Maybe adjust it so that if a teammate is within your line of sight, their name gets displayed.
