I’m of the older generation who enjoys physical copies of games, I know call me crazy. I ordered the physical copy of sea of thieves and now am a bit bummed because I want to play on both my
Xbox that I got the physical copy for and my PC. I’m okay with buying the digital version for my pc but my question is will this allow me to play on the same account? Will the game be a log in to account type of deal or will I be locked out from playing the same profile on two different copies of the game?

@themilkman-vaec Unfortunately the physical copies of the game do not have the play anywhere capabilities, for that you need to have purchased the digital version.
If you get the digital version it will be tied to your Gamertag so will need to be signed into both platforms with the same account.
@musicmee that’s fine with me BUT will that digital copy allow me to play on the same profile as my physical copy? Thx brother
@themilkman-vaec Yes it should :) But if you get the digital copy it will download itself to both platforms anyway making the disc defunct?
@musicmee lol guess it’ll just be there for show. I was going to buy digital on pc and use the disc for Xbox. You think I’m good to go?
@themilkman-vaec Your character will be linked with your xbox account. So it doesn't matter how you play the game as long as you use the same account.
