As we cross the SoT on our adventures, & progress from alpha to beta to full release, I wonder what other foodstuffs will reveal themselves to round out our piraty diets. Bananas will only stay exciting for so long...
Will other fruits find themselves crammed into barrels or float towards us in shipwrecks? Will be find any protein entering our diets?
Chickens & pigs litter the islands it seems. Will we get drumsticks or sausages to munch on in the future?
If we can indeed start to fish, as has been asked aplenty & possibly hinted at as well, will we get to eat the fish we catch?
Sharkfin soup anyone?
Eating food has an in-game purpose- it returns lost health. So far we have the banana as our only answer to injury & to stave off death. I can't believe that a world as rich as SoT is quickly becoming will be limited to 'The Banana'... Will Rare add more food? Same action, same amount of health regain, just different food groups & appearance...

I'd love to see cooking in the game, we have a kitchen on the galleon..let us use it!
I'd also love to see different foods for consumption, Durian fruit, unpeeled straight down? Would be interesting :P@fullmetaljakee
