Blackwake is strictly a pvp pirate game... mediocre graphics, clunky mechanics.... and you are either on a boat with 13 people, or 7 people... and you always get a bunch of really really BAD people.... so it makes the experience horrendous except the rare occasion the other team is even worse.
However.... It is sailing, it is manual loading, it is sea combat.... a lot of things that we will be doing in SoT.... SoT is on a whole nother level... no comparison... but since i can't play SoT yet i've been getting my sea legs loosened up on Blackwake for fun on Steam.
The point of this long and drawn-on post is to see if anyone else was playing it or would like to... and would like to team up so we can do some practice sailing together.
