@lizalaroo I bought the controller and plan on getting the Collectors Edition. Will there be one? As I do not know either to buy the preorder for the normal or wait. Also will this outfit be on the collectors edition? As I dont want to pay extra for the same outfit I am already going to get. Please advise Rare ty.

The clothes are very nice, I would wear it with pride in game, but I expected however some thing of more "morbid" like the clothes of the captain of the ghost ship.

The unicorn is usually considered as a pure and harmless animal, however, in certain cases, she can also appear as being a malefic and dangerous creature, one thing which it is necessary to avoid . Maybe that in the case of the pirates, this symbol can be usefull to inspire the fear in the heart of the enemies ! :D

@Vapor1080 @Monsieur-Hamuro The unicorn features on the ferry, but I'd also like to know a little more about it's significance in the world of Sea of Thieves - I know there were a lot of tales around narwhals and narwhal horn during the middle ages when sailors started voyaging further afield.
@katttruewalker still I would have liked to have seen it more prominently displayed.
They could have made the unicorn symbol the sword guard of the cutless or even done this
I would have loved to see the guard of the cutless be made in the shape of the unicorn symbols like this
@zombie-p1ague Nice looking swords there, were they more ornamental than practical?
I did find this one which is apparently the sword of Charles the Bold (15th century) and this dagger also inspired by it, they look pretty amazing!
Elizabeth I was also gifted an embellished narwhal horn which was worth the price of a small castle, but was lost during the Civil War or shortly afterwards as it was thought to represent witchcraft etc.
