My opinion on season 20

About the worst season ever

Clearly, because nothing you like was added. :P Just another season.
But not one complaint I've read on S20 has any merit to justify why it's a bad season. The question is: "What makes a season good?"
What can a season add to a 8+ year old sandbox game, that hasnt already been added to change things up and be called, Good/Great/Perfect?

To some, simply keeping the game up and running is enough.
Others it seems, if nothing new is anything, it's a bad season. I've noticed people posting videos on YT of created works using CS. Music videos, short clips, stories and even cinematic stuff. Those creative people are having a blast, but we also have those who have 0 creative skills, so it leaves them out.

Half enjoy it quietly. Meeting people on the seas, asking to join their random rowboat explosion game mode, send code and join. Those are the people who are having good old fun, Chill and less stressful.

So Im back to the question.
"What makes a season good?"

But you better start doing past seasons' stuff if you haven't done it already. S17-S19 now perfect time to do them, since the DR is empty again xD

You can't say this season is just like any other, because that's completely false—and that's exactly the problem!
This season (if you can even call it a season anymore) has absolutely, positively nothing—zero—in the way of content!
And don’t even try to tell me that the custom servers are the content, because THAT IS NOT CONTENT!
“Season” 20 is definitely one of the worst—IF NOT THE WORST—of all the Sea of Thieves seasons! I’d still like to point out that in the past, when there were shorter seasons, there was always something extra—or updated—in the “regular” game—Season 5, for example.
This season is a disgrace!

And when you say, “Clearly, because nothing you like was added,” I hope you’re being ironic because NOTHING was added!
Oh wait, sorry: just some recycled FOMO content and a totally lame seasonal pass (winning trips—WOW, that’s so cool....)

And let’s talk about custom servers: it’s just a big joke aimed at content creators who are increasingly abandoning the game, to get them to come back, in the hope that they’ll do the developers’ work and create in-game content (without progression, etc.)
