Blunderbuss Improvement

  • Currently, the Blunderbuss sits in a rough position as a weapon. One of my favourite deck retake loadouts if I have lost my deck to a boarder is Pistol & Blunderbuss. Unfortunately, due to a mix of network issues and the high spread on the Blunderbuss, it has become extremely unreliable. This results in me mostly keeping the Pistol & Eye of the Reach combination.

    I’ve noticed many players feel similarly to the general use of the Blunderbuss. I think two decent middle grounds to help it thrive again would be:

    • Remove 1 Pellet in total, Add 1 damage per pellet. Still adds up to 90 damage with less pellets to register, reducing its load on the server
    • Remove 15% spread, allowing the pellets to travel further in a tighter pattern, slightly increasing the range of the weapon and rewarding good aim
      If these are too strong, then something to balance it out:
    • Remove 15% range on the knockback cloud of the Blunderbuss

    Any % value is more of an estimate, but I feel this would bring the Blunderbuss back into the game much more.

    It still very much a powerful tool to use and never left the game. Idk why people want it buff back to one shot

  • @burnbacon Yeah, agreed. We do not need to bring back One Blunder Wonder.

  • I just realized that the minus values didn’t show up on this, I was beyond confused why everyone thought I was bringing back one blunder 😭

  • @boneheart1237 My thoughts exactly, it needs less knockback, more range. Though i think they just need to remove the hard cc movement lockout while you're airborne
