Hi, all! Remember when the PvP sweats were saying the introduction of Safer Seas would ruin the game? And remember how that specifically didn't happen? Pepperidge farm remembers.
So, now that we've established that the PvP community knows nothing about what will and won't ruin the game, why are we continuing to take their opposition seriously, when it comes to lifting all restrictions on Safer Seas?
My friends and I have been enjoying the game, doing tall tales, and mixing it up with Gold Hoarder and Order of Souls quests here and there. But for us, we can see the end approaching, because as soon as we finish all tall tales, and hit rank 25 in all factions, that will be it for us. The ability to rank up further, unlock Pirate Legend, and use captained ships are never going to be worth the trouble and displeasure of dealing with PvP sweats.
Why are we continuing to pretend that Safer Seas is just a tutorial, when it's clearly capable of being an independent version of the game? Especially now that we're able to create multiple characters, it seems very possible to create Safer-Seas-locked characters, and allow us to PvP with our friends on completely private servers.
Let's do it!
