Forgoten penitentiary - (underwater dungeon idea)

  • Dungeon, with puzzles, parkour and wave based fights, in underwater volcano.
    Ideas for puzzles, parkur and fights will follow.

    Puzzles
    Stray light (entry puzzle)
    Bunch of mirrors that needs to be adjusted to conect the light beam with lock. There would be pulleys as rotateble beams.

    Tresury (finale)
    Half flooded room with 5 statues and 6 colored gems. Around the celing there will be painting showing 5 figures each having one gem associated with them. The gems will be scattered around the room. After placing the gems right, you will be able to place last gem to one of 3 locks, each giving difrent kinde of loot.

    Fights
    Arena
    2 layer arena. 1st layer with colums on the edges and little boiling lake with purple tridens in midle. From there is a BIT of parkur in midle to get to 2cd layer. That would be outer ring only. Only cover there would be the extended columns. Ziplanes to 1st layer lead from there. All that is surounded by lava ditch, with statues on walls pouring new lava in.

    Enemies:
    Lavagolem
    • Can spew lava, that stays on ground dealing constant dmage to anyone totching it
    • Tryes explode before beaing killed - can be killed before
    • Can start over heating, seting anyone in close range on fire
    Ghost warden
    • Uses mangeta trident
    • Can dash in one direction, damaging anyone in it's way

    Parkour
    I was thinking about, statues as destroyed as pristine and hanging cages. That all with the Arena under it.

    Not gonna lie, this sounds like a revamped sunken kingdom voyage, but I actually would be down to see this for an expansion of sunken kingdoms.

    Yes, the suggestion was actually aiming for somewhat original challenges, and not original concept as whole.
    Also the settings is adjusted to probuble placement: The Devils roar

    I just want to see the Sunken kingdom expanded.

  • The problem with this (as with the existing Sunken Kingdom treasuries and shrines) is leaving your ship unsupervised - or the need of one crewmember to stay behind.

    Adding it to the Roar would also create problems with vulcanoes putting holes in your ship and putting it on fire while you're under water.

    Yea, that's the point of Sea of Thieves, to always watch the ship no matter what. You don't leave the ship alone in a lot of circumstances because people will come and sink you.

    This reminded me of my not yet suggested suggestion: We should have "Your ship is beaing atacked" masage when we are under water.
    But yeh, that's issue, but tolerable imo. (Or I'm just used to it).

    I mean, all I've got to say to this is, just put it into nonactive area.
