Please open up the seadog tavern as an area that players can just go and chill on or meet up with fellow players, having g it on the sea but unusable is pointless and would be a lovely feature to use with friends

@ginge1580 they can't open it per se as it's empty inside. Inside we know from A-word mode is separate place. So you would need to move player after crossing the doors.
So probably nots gonna happen, its effort that will bring no efects.
I made a request a couple years ago to turn it into a hub accessible from the main menu, a place where players can join and meet other pirates, form crews and set sail from within it, mess around and have fun inside. It got a lot of positive feedback but unfortunately we still have not got anything.
If nothing else, repurpose it to a guild hub.
The interior of the sea dogs tavern isn’t there at the same location we can visit in the open world, it’s somewhere beneath the map like Athena’s hideout. So we’d have to teleport to it.
