What is everyone's take on this? There wasn't really enough info but it worryingly sounds like a form of pay to win if you can pay to have access to better and more accurate info. I'm surprised what sounds like an accessibility upgrade would be behind a paywall.
(As said this is conjecture at this point, dont have enough info to make definitive opinion on it, just voicing a concern)

isn't it just like dolby atmos?
I don't know if it is just me but it seems like the game audio has been worsened in hourglass I can't hear people coming up ladder like I used to or people swimming near the boat( i got over a 1000 level in hourglass I know was a boarder sounds like)
I hope they are not bringing the sound quality down to sell their improved version of it. Hope it is just a bug
