please bro fix hourglass i love this game and i just want to play solo hourglass properly but it cant be that i get 3 out of 3 matches third partied please do hourglass on pirvate servers or make a seperate arena or something i dont want to loose my streak bc some newbie gally is anchoring with full sails next to me and absolutely obliterate my [Mod edit] i beg you

Did you watch the Season 8 SoT TV livestream? The point of hourglass is that it takes place in the adventure world. Hourglass isn't a special mode, it's a voyage you vote on to get PvP on demand. The point of hourglass is not to be a separate game mode, but to be a quicker way to get to PvP. Hourglass was designed from the ground up to be nothing more than a button you push to summon a fight. In the main game, non hourglass, there will be unfair fights. At least in hourglass you can usually assume the opponent you get will be the same ship as you, in adventure team play is totally acceptable so it makes sense that if you have a button that just instantly gives you PvP you will have a chance to run into disadvantageous scenarios. Sometimes you don't have enough supplies to win. It is what it is. No one should ask for supplies to be reset for every HG match, and if they did, invasion farmers would actually be MASSIVELY at an advantage since they could leave supps in a supply crate on a dock.
