Hi, just a few questions about this thing. About a month ago Rare re-opened the possibility to take part to this program for SoT communities. A lot of people I know on discord presented their communities (all very active, with way more than 1000 active members, daily interactions with players, and so on). None of them still received a word from Rare, and by checking on the list, everything is still unchanged. The "new" community you recently proclaimed as a recent addition on the program (Pride Brigade) was already on this list on you site before the announcent and doesn't even meet half of the minimum requirement for active players. Did something changed? Did you lower the requirement and / or changed something else? Can you please give us a word (even with a post) about what's happening? Thank you in advance. 🙂
Affiliate Alliance
@blazebeard2313 decisions for affiliate alliances will take time so Rare can inspect the kind of behaviour that goes on in the server, if they’re a suitable match for Rare, and if they want the affiliate to actually represent them or not, among other reasons.
Regarding the Pride Brigade, that’s been an ongoing discussion, it’s a server with a proven track record of being inclusive to LGBTQIA+ members of the community with a very low tolerance for bigotry and abuse, qualities Rare are looking for in their affiliates. So that decision took time and was right for Rare.
Regarding if/when other discord applicants are chosen, it’ll happen when it does and server leaders will be contacted. Just gotta be patient until then.
