Make adventures tall tales

  • Make it so if you wanna do one you select it and do it inside a private server with the version of the world that was around during the adventure.
I started playing in late 2023 and never got the chance to experience the incredible story and rewards of the adventures and I’d really like to see that added back

  • I agree, since they stopped the adventures in 2020, it'd be nice to at least play them again.

  • Herald of the flame is one of the coolest things I have ever played and it is so integral to the lore of Flameheart returning. It's INSANE to me that they don't want to have that lore accessible to players.

  • @jamesthelad18 havent had a chance to play any of them, really. its weird to think that the amount of resources that went into making adventures was all for naught. they should absolutely be brought back

  • From memory, they told us at the time that they would think about making the adventures playable again.
The only problem is that 2 of these adventures are directly linked to the community's choice (Lost Sand and Return of the Damned).
So, if they bring back these adventures, I wonder if they'll add these two...

  • @zeyrniyx imagine if they added the ability to see both outcomes of those adventures

  • @zeyrniyx

“Community choice” is an illusion. Like many games, they can give you many choices but they all lead to the same conclusion

What they can do, Sea of the damned lore idea. Everything is a memory. So future they could task us pirates by reliving the past events to uncover new small details in trying to solve some other mystery that help us with present events.

Nothing changes. Much like re reading a book. We know the outcome but maybe we missed a clue to some ancient thing. (They can add more/ or change)

So regarding the choice of Golden Sand, the future was really uncertain, as much for the return of FH, it was obvious that the community was going to resurrect FH (what a mistake, when you think about it, considering how it turned out afterwards).

  • Seems like a good idea. Many people put lots of effort into developing them and all the assets presumably still exist, so it seems a shame to lock them away forever.

On a similar note, The Hoarders Hunt from a few years a go would make a great "special voyage". It could be treated somewhat similar to the Sunken kingdom curse voyage. The outside the game social media clue stuff wasn't my sort of thing, but the in game riddles were a lot of fun. I'd certainly like the chance to go through it again, this time without the time pressure.

  • @captain-kirn So few players have had a chance to play them, there is so much lore of this game that will effectively never be seen again unless the devs decide to bring it back

  • The biggest shame, is how much time, money and development resources ent into creating them, only for them to delete them from the game.
