So I'm relatively new to the game, and someone told me recently (without explaining further) that there are always some commendations that are limited to a season. One thing that I liked about SoT is that it didn’t seem to have that much FOMO B.S., at least compared to most other online service games out there. Can anyone tell me if that’s true and, if yes, which ones are for the current season? I did some googling, but the info wasn’t exactly clear—the in-game menu definitely doesn’t help (it doesn’t even have a search function... imagine that), so yeah, I’m lost.
Help Me Understand Seasons
None of the commendations are limited to a season; once they are added they are there permanently.
The only thing that you can't get after a season ends are the Season titles and the season branded cosmetics that are in the Renown track. I think those items are named like "Order of Bone & Blade {ITEM}" for Season 16.
@d3adst1ck I have already finished the season so I guess I'm good to go. Thank you so much for the info!
It works just like any other season.
Time limited cosmetics in a ''battlepass'' that are gone once the season is over.Personally I never had/got Fomo from a video game ever. Nobody truly cares if you missed out on a cosmetic, outside of weirdos that want to flex their collection.
Has their been skins I really regret not having that are no longer avalaible? Sure, the Mercenary blunderbuss/eye of reach that I COULD of gotten if I paid more attention. But I never knew it would of been pulled out of the game. Yet things like the flintlock remains (Weird).
I guess I am a ''Indirect victim'' of Fomo, but not someone that stays glued to a game to try and pick up every single piece. If there's a cosmetic I don't like, I don't bother.
Hell I have so many ships/weapons/character skins on my stacked account, yet I've rotated between a set of 5 for the past 7 years.
