Pirate deleted, support permanently revoked

    A couple months ago I had some family troubles and my brother started deleting my pirate repeatedly and thus I repeatedly had it brought back by support. To my dread the next morning I noticed not only was my pirate deleted but when I clicked support it said I was permanently revoked. When I asked my brother about it he had used my account to send threats to the support team. At that point I decided to step away from the game until our family issues were resolved. I had the itch to play this game again but I can't bring myself to start over since I had over 300 hours on my old pirate. I am hoping to get my pirate back.

    However, I want it to be known that I feel horrible for what happened. The support team helped me restore my pirate multiple times and when I learned about what my brother did I was disgusted. On behalf of him and me for letting things spiral out of control I want to apologize to support for whatever terrible things he wrote to you. If recovering my pirate by now is impossible I will understand and move on. Also if this post is in any form a violation then I'm sorry and you can close the topic.

    I'm just hoping to get my pirate back, but I understand if it isn't going to happen. I owe the support team my thanks for their patience and will accept any decision made here.

    If it were me, the first time it happened, I would've changed my password and logged out, to prevent anyone hopping on my account and doing this.

    But that's just me.

    Cautionary Tale: set up your 2FA.

    You can also force a logout of your profile from any device you've logged into on xbox....I'm willing to bet Steam, Playstation and Battlenet too.

    Yeah a lot of the fault lies with me. I should have taken precautions to ensure it wouldn't happen again, but instead things went the way it did. I just want to know if my pirate is recoverable because I've invested so much into him, especially now that I can ensure there will be no outside interference. Regardless, even if the answer I get is no, I'll be happy as long as I get my answer.

    Well, I got an answer I was not expecting at all. It seems the support team is a reflection of this game's community. I'll leave it at that.

    Very rare thing to happen, How often was it deleted....

    Make sense. Since you kept repeatly asking to restore a delete pirate over and over, at some point they are gonna have to accept (never ending)

    They did before, and how your brother got into your account seems to be On you. And your bro sending...Threats...yeah. One can view this as a bad luck but then again...How can anyone prove "You" didnt send those threats since its under your account.
    From Supports view point, I can see why.

    @lezardvaleth131 As the owner of the account you are responsible for the activity perpetuated through your account. This is why you should secure your account and make sure only you have control of it.

    I am not liking the vibes I am getting here, I can tell most of you just read the topic and immediately assumed the worst about me.

    Yes I'm aware its my fault and as I previously mentioned I'm willing to accept punishment for my actions.

    You are all acting like I'm being selfish for wanting my 300 hour pirate back which, by the way, I'm not getting him back. It stinks but I've accepted it. However, none of you have the right to judge me and even accuse me of performing such horrible actions.

    I have my regrets. But to insist that I'm lying about my family situation months ago is a direct insult and a reportable offense. My brother is in a mental hospital and my parents and I are concerned every day. What he did was wrong but keep in mind he's still my brother and insulting him in any form is no better than whatever it was he did. Apologize.
