Add a new gamemode that 2 guild leaders can agree to a guild world. X number of ships vs X number of ships. The guild leaders can agree to an amount of sloops lead by 1 brigantine lead by 1 galleon(the captained ship). Each guild represents a certain emissary winners can get reputation or something.. After both captains agree then it starts a war server where the 2 guilds battle!! Also would be nice if there were allied guilds and rival guilds system.

Sounds like a lot of fun but also has the potential to be abused. You would need to find a way to force combat. Otherwise it would just turn into an easy way to set up alliance servers. Even if you removed all loot and only awarded gold/ reputation for sinking enemy guild ships, what's to stop a player entering two guilds under different accounts, or a group of friends from just agreeing to take turns sinking each other?
You'd need to add in a bunch of different rules to the server, and at that point you run the risk of creating a whole new game mode and running into all the same problems they had with the arena.
I'm not trying to shoot the idea down, or saying something like this wouldn't ever be possible, just that there are some kinks to be worked out first. I'm all for brainstorming and coming up with ideas though because this does sound like it would be a lot of fun.
@strxberrrii yeah, I can see the server instability from here. galley hg is bad enough, having over 10 people on each team would probably explode the servers
@rocksinclair I am also a huge supporter of this idea, because it actually sounds like something fun in sot besides slamming reaper pj's at fotd or just more hg grinding

That already happens with hourglass (wintrading), but most people don’t care / don’t know already. It doesn’t really matter if it’s abusable, since it’s only for cosmetics anyways
@eligibleeel6171 I mean true i thought of that.. Maybe they can put cooldown on your reputation and gold from these events and you only get the loot the other guild has looted during the sertver.. And a storm can close in slowly
