HG compensation ?

Yeah don’t expect compensation of any kind, there’s plenty of things to do in game while HG is down so they can fix it.

Apparently there are players voting up HG passively, doing uncontested loot-stacking while leveling up. If you're desperate for rep, why not do that?

I do think Rare should have disabled HG rep entirely, while disabling the feature that allowed the loot to be contested. But even then, I don't think anyone should be unnecessarily compensated while they are working on a fix.

Do other things, whether in or out of SoT. You're not owed any compensation here, but you can reward yourself elsewhere.

my plan was to hit 700 at the end of may, and guess what, i'm still 558...

My plan was to Hit 1000 by the end of 2026, but at this rate....Yeah, I believe they owe me some random number of Exp, that may or may not equal to the amount of exp I would actually get for a Tool system that has it ups and downs.

Might as well just give everyone a single Curse :/

The path for 1000 lvl is already time-consuming enough.

At most they'll give us a fight night weekend, or something. But you're not owed anything - there's plenty of other things to do on SoT besides hourglass.

Yeah, we're not owed anything - it's a live service game and the service has been dreadful to the point players are moving on because of it.

I haven't touched the game in weeks and have moved on to other games and question if it's worth coming back

@cainbong Dunno what to tell you - they're working on it, but fixes take time on a dated engine/servers, as I'm sure you can appreciate.

@bdt2370 compensation? Maybe they just make the game work good from now on 😂 No amount of levels is making up for the mess the game is right now. I mean if that's what's gonna make you stick around sure give it IDC. Just a bandaid solution.

@xdragonman15558 if I recall it was a period of increased rep that had issues so free levels were given.

Because they didnt receive the levels from their streaks, so rare felt the need to compensate them.
I dont know why that was expanded to every player.
This time hourglass is deactivated though and noone is loosing levels they worked for because they cant work for levels at the moment.

@fysics3037 Of course they need to fix the issue first. And I'll stick around anyway. But god know how bad i want this gold skeleton, It's my only goal in this game since december, and I'm so annoyed about the time i lost because of that issue.

@th3-tater 1 month of double xp can be a good compensation, we'll catch up on lost hours by playing

It bites that you weren't able to play hourglass for a week, but I don't know that warrants a whole week's worth of double EXP. It'd be one thing if Hourglass was working, and just not rewarding EXP for people's time, but nothing was actually LOST other than the ability to play in the first place - the rest of the game was still available to play.
