Please rare, please make it so we can store weapon away in another type of storage. Because everytime i try going out to switch my weapons or switch the look of my bucket, or everytime I accidentally buy something, I dont wanna see it in the equipment chest or the Armoury. Theres too much stuff I bought in the past when I wanted to buy everything in the game and it would be a lot easier to get what im looking for in a intense situation or something I know I want equipped but I cant find it. Please rare add something like this eventually.
Storing weapons and equipment.
Just speaking for myself here, if my ship is taking on a lot of water and the bilge calls for buckets, I'm not stopping by my equipment chest to change the cosmetics of my bucket. Same with my weapon loadout. If a guy is swimming to my ladder, I'm not going to the armoury and going thru 10 pages of cosmetics. Your opponent isn't going to care in the slightest what blunderbuss cosmetic you're using. If you're in an intense situation, go for the default skin and you're good to go.
100% Agree with this.
I would even go a step further that the game needs a custom captain editor that can be assigned onto a captained ship. Custom name, face and body type, save cosmetic presets for each category and then get rid of the weapon box in its current form entirely. Put the weapon cosmetics in the equipment chest and make the weapon box a swap box only.
Also make it so you can adjust the size of your DISTICTION RINGS SO THEY SHOW THROUGH GLOVES. Like what are you guys thinking? You release a new category of assignable cosmetic that can’t be used with another? And it’s supposed to be the elite cosmetic added up to level 500? Such a bad system. In fact they should have made it so every 100 levels in a faction you get a new currency faction voucher that can be redeemed with gold for a single Distinction item so the can add more in the future. Do the devs really think I’m ever going to drop my black dog gloves for some rings? I know it’s unrelated but the whole distinction system is less than half baked. I’m willing to bet more than half the player base has zero incentive to obtain them if it means forcing a cosmetic change to a pirate design that might be 7 years old.
At the end of the day, SoT is a cosmetics based game, it shouldn’t be a pain to use your collection.
