Saving Outfits

  • I love the cosmetics in this game so much. I love playing around with different sets of clothes, weapons, accessories and such. But there is too much of them and I'm scared to buy everything and get lost trying to find what I'm looking for. Also if I get myself a set of clothes that I like together, it's another hassle to always remember what they were. At this point there should be a way to save cosmetics (at least the clothing and vanity if not the weapons since it'd change pvp and such) like in GTA Online or Cyberpunk.

  • This gets my approval

  • @kbbmxr agreed, especially because I switch between several sets depending on what I feel like that day.

  • @kbbmxr

Been requested since day one. Bit crazy we don't have this feature, when the game itself is about cosmetics and unique-ness. If we had the ability to save outfits, I believe we would see more people experiment and try out new things but as it currently stands, people rarely swap if ever due to the fact it's a chore to scroll through tons of pages of jackets/pants etc and not have a save option once you find a decent fit.

  • Seeing the whole game is based on buying cosmetics with gold, buying at emporium or unlocking items with quests etc. This outfit loadout saving is needed, same can go for ships.

  • Also agree, for both pirate and ship 'outfits'. Even something small like starting with 3 save slots would be a GAME changer, and this can then be expanded on in future for more storage, or even increase it out to vanity items and emotes per outfit etc.

  • From my understanding, this is something that the devs want to add, but isn't as simple as it seems, and they're prioritizing other things first. This is only something I've heard though, I have no official source for it.

  • Not only this, but we should be able to save ship cosmetics. Captaintained ships only have 1 cosmetics that we can save and that gets boring. i dont wanna start another ship just to change a cosmetic preset.

  • @itz-majman Exactly my reason to not changing whenever I want

  • @captdirtyoar Yeah it'd fit to introduce it alongside captained ships

  • @boneheart1237 That's a probability as well but cosmetics is pretty much one of biggest aspects of the game this shouldn't have been took so long.

  • This this this. Once I learned we could save ship cosmetics, I knew player cosmetics were next. Still waiting. For all we know, it's on the horizon!!

  • I would love to see this added.

  • Why hasn't this been added yet like actually?
Is it because they aren't bothered in moving every piece of clothing item to a different folder in Unreal Engine to set it up?

Should of been done at the very least in S7 with Captaincy..

  • @veronik5682 They wouldn't need to save every piece of clothing to a different folder all they would need is a file listing all the items the outfit should have.

Now the issue might be creating a system to prevent items that aren't owned by the person from being added or loaded by that list.

I can see alliances as an example of the issue.
