My friends and I were playing Hourglass (Servant of the Flame) in a Brigantine. When we resurfaced, we were invading a ship who had parked/beached themselves in the middle of Kraken's Fall.
Because that water is immensely shallow, we noticed their ship would NOT sink. Despite hitting them with 12 kegs (found after resurfacing around the island, at the sea fort just outside the ring, and later allied with a Brig that was passing by who used theirs), 200+ cannonballs, firebombs, all the while keeping them off repairs to the best of our abilities (all veteran players, been playing since 2018/2019) the water would not rise above the last stair.
They pulled themselves in with the harpoon. We tried to pull them out, since they were full of Tier 2 and 3 holes they definitely would be sunk in deeper water, but they camped the harpoons/ship decks enough to where neither of our crews could pull their ship out before being shot/sword dashed.
After 2 hours of waiting, then battle, we succumbed. We tried to bait them out by just waiting on the outer edge of the ring for over an hour, they wouldn't budge. They won due to this clearly cheap exploit.
Please consider reworking this map somehow. Maybe so there's a big rock in the way there? So only a rowboat can enter that bay? Or maybe implement some coding there, so ships can only be invaded in the open sea during Hourglass when near that island? Not sure what the devs can pull off, but that really shouldn't be allowed.
