FIX THE CORAL BOTTLES!!!

    I switched from Xbox to pc and have logged 25 hours strictly looking for coral bottles, I've found 2. Please fix this out is getting ridiculous, let me buy them as a quest for dabloons.

    Im on Xbox and I can't visit an island without finding one or shipwrecks. Happens when Im not looking, next I have 5 of them in 1 hour.

    As usual when you are looking for something, you struggle finding it. Generally per session i find 3 coral bottles, they also float amongst barrels in the sea. Just do other stuff and you'll come across some.

    they can bump them up for casual play

    they are around but they aren't abundant for casual players, which often means they are tough to find for casual/short session play.

    it's just a voyage so people can shrine, no real reason to make something time consuming much more time consuming in current sot

    @dark-sapienn I am not sure if you already know all the places to look for them, so here it goes:

    • shipwrecks
    • next to floating barrels in the water
    • washed up on shores (in the sand)
    • pro tip : check all beaches on Shark Bait Cove + Old Salts Atoll + Discovery Ridge (switch between those 3 islands)

    I know it is all based on luck and I agree:
    It would be great to be able to buy/vote for them as a quest.

    Since these are based on rng it's not very fun at all when actively going for them. I believe the rng is okay but Rare should definitely create a way to get one of these bottles guaranteed too as well.

    Thats a rough stretch for sure.

    I feel they are pretty common. I play 90-minute sessions doing nothing but island hopping and floating debris collection, and usually find at least one per session, typically two. Much more frequent than the regular bottle missions.

    Hello all, I have figured out the coral bottles do not matter to being the curse, it isn't a requirement. I would check the requirements carefully. I will pick up bottles as I see them but they are no longer necessary. Thank you for all the replies!

    @timotion22 Coral bottles give you a quest for a Shrine or Treasure, which will spawn a Breath of the Sea. You need to return 30 of these for a commendation.

    I very much doubt there is a spawn rate difference between server platforms
