If this topic has already been discussed, I apologize, but it is impossible to read everything.
- Revise the guild invitation system.
Currently, you can either create your own guild or join a guild by invitation, which is a very inconvenient method, especially for console players.
The matchmaking process for cooperative gameplay is random, often leading to repeated searches due to language barriers, age differences, or differing in-game goals at the moment. (Searching for teammates on social networks also does not guarantee success.) This makes it even more difficult to enjoy the game, especially for new players.
Here is my suggestion:
-Allow players to see a list of available guilds, including their primary platform and the language the guild uses for communication, and the option to submit an application for review.
This would simplify communication, reduce the number of solo players, and make it easier for guilds to find like-minded members rather than meeting them by chance in-game. As a result, fewer players would be frustrated by unsuccessful matchmaking. The game is great, but exploring the seas is much more enjoyable with others.
2.Guild Island
Yes, battling sea monsters, searching for treasure, and sinking passing ships is exciting, but I think everyone would agree that it can get a bit repetitive, and mid-season, online activity often drops as players wait for new quests, tasks, and events.
To add more variety and maintain the pirate spirit, something like a Pirate Island is essential.
Here is my suggestion:
-
Upon reaching a certain guild level (for example, level 50), a guild quest called "Lost Island of the Pirate Storm" becomes available, requiring the participation of at least 6 guild members.
-
Guild members must find the journal of the captain of a prison ship that was transporting one of the 10 most wanted pirates ever captured. We search for the pirates who managed to escape, and after sinking the pirate's ship, we find the journal that tells the story of how they escaped captivity by sinking the ship and where the shipwreck occurred. We then find the sunken prison ship and, by consulting the journal, discover the island where one of the 10 pirates was imprisoned. After finding the island, we uncover a clue from a fellow prisoner that the pirate managed to escape to his own island.
In exchange for helping him escape, he revealed the location of his island to 5 people, each of whom was given one of 5 key parts to the island.
The key parts are held by:
- The prisoner himself, who didn't manage to escape and was buried with his half-circle key. The others saw it as useless junk hanging around his neck.
- A sailor who helped the pirate escape the island and reach another island.
- A merchant who hid the pirate, giving him shelter and clothing, though he asked for protection from unwelcome guests in return. (Unfortunately, the merchant's humble ship was eventually torn apart by a shark, and the entire crew, along with the merchant who had the key, perished. However, someone from the crew survived and tells the terrifying story in a tavern.)
- The right-hand man of one of the 10 captains, who is now sailing the seas with his crew, searching for the remaining keys to the island, knowing it holds great treasures.
-Finding the fifth key is a mystery, but the hint says we need to talk to the cook on Monkey Island. The cook doesn't want to hear anything and keeps talking about a dish made from a giant octopus that lives between the islands of **** and *****. He also mentions that, as always, the main ingredient is missing, and that the brave soul who can kill and cook the kraken will receive some treasures for more than a week. After killing the kraken, we get the key, and for delivering the kraken's meat, we receive a hint on how to use it.
-- Once all the keys are gathered and combined, we notice that the shape in the center of the keys forms the shape of our future guild island (the shape depends on which of the 10 famous pirates we selected in the journal).
-- The key allows us to dive underwater and reach the shores of the island. We need to fend off skeletons and, upon reaching the island, fight off the right-hand man of the infamous pirate who somehow survived, assembled a crew, and followed us.
-- Access to the key is granted to the guild leader and their deputies (those they appoint), but all guild members can visit the island, not from the open sea, but by speaking with the guild merchant on trading islands.
-- Upon activating the key, a vote is held for setting sail to the island (There is a 10% chance that if your ship is sunk, the key will be lost, and other pirates may have a one-time opportunity to find it). On the island, there is a small fort, inside of which are a treasury, a tavern, several docks for guild ships, and the guild's flag. If treasures are handed over to the guild merchant on trading islands, no gold is received; instead, the treasures are stored in the guild island's treasury. Treasures within the guild can be exchanged for:
Guild coins, which are a symbol of the guild, their value depending on the guild's rank (they can be used to purchase skins for island structures and guild ships).
Island upgrades:
--- (increases the number of cannons on the island and the number of defensive towers "which appear both on the island and in the water").
--- (increases the number and type of skeleton defenders on the island, helping to defend the island during sieges when guild members are offline).
--- (increases the number of buildings on the island, including those of other factions "traders, orders, gold hoarders, bones," allowing the island to raise an additional faction flag that grants experience for that faction).
--- (increases the loot on the island "barrels with food and ammunition, trees with fruit, fishing spots").
--- After upgrading, resources must be collected for construction (planks, skulls for creating skeletons, and other items that can be added to chests like "nails, rope, cloth").
On the island, a flag can be raised to indicate that the island is ready for battle (when raising the flag, a time from a list can be selected for the battle, and the list shows other guilds of similar levels that have chosen the time and date for the fight). (It is also possible to challenge another guild from the list to a battle.) After raising the flag, the battle time is awaited (if a guild is available for battle at the selected time, after the island loads, we appear at sea where multiple guilds are defending their island and attacking another island with ships). The battle ends after a certain time, with the guild that earned the most points for:
*killing pirates
*sinking ships
*sabotaging the island by setting buildings on fire
Receiving rating points and part of the island's treasury. The losing guild loses rating points, part of the treasury, and must rebuild the island.
